Activist or Terrorist

Activist -an especially activevigorous advocate of a cause,especially a political cause.

Terrorist - a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism.
Or a person who terrorizes or frightens others.

We are living in a world where we are obviously not all on the same page nor the same team.  The line between activist and terrorist is becoming very thin.  The FBI is even pushing to have some activists charged as terrorists.

After Sunday’s incident in California we find ourselves as animal producers in a real difficult situation.  Are we protected? Our law enforcement is busy dealing with many important issues including a major drug problem in the country that often leads to other crimes, they most certainly do not have the time to watch over every feed yard, poultry barn, meat processing center and ranch.

The other issue that needs to be discussed and punished is every time activists cross the line into terrorism there is a bill. The article does not have the total loss involved in the 14 truck explosion, but that has to be expensive.  What about the work lost and the families out of a paycheck while insurance replaces the trucks?  There also are many other businesses that depend on the trucking of livestock by these trucks.   I say send them a bill and “if” they can’t afford it don’t put them in jail – we can’t afford that.  Put them to work at a place like the one they took their activism too far.  Since we can’t afford a parole officer for the terrorist just give the farmer/rancher a gun.

Maybe this is to extreme.
