Today the drought map looks like this.
Although I am not making light of the current situation. Normally I would consider myself an overly cautious and somewhat negative person, I have faith that things will be alright. These maps they flash everywhere look very scary. I do think that some of the changes they are making throughout Agriculture are scary. However even the worst parts of this map are only 3-6 inches of precipitation out of the deep dark red and into the white. That is a few snow storms off or a heavy spring rain out of the drought. I am keeping the faith. How about you?
Yes, I too am worried about how farming will be this year! Let's pray that something good will happen and we'll get some moisture!
